Feedback from clients is always nice, particularly when living in a small community.
We were fortunate to have Ingrid recommended to us by previous clients. She was very professional and always available for advice during the building process. She provided thorough detailed plans with great attention to detail. We wanted an architect who was both receptive to our ideas and provided architectural and aesthetic guidance. Our brief was for a character home that paid homage to traditional rural design but also made an individual statement. She listened to our ideas and then enhanced them with her sense of creativity and knowledge of architectural balance. She has a great sense of proportion and designed a spacious, light filled home that is both impressive and welcoming. With her creativity and sound knowledge of architectural principles Ingrid helped us turn our ideas into a unique farmhouse that ties in with the surrounding buildings and beautifully compliments its rural surroundings.
Natalie and Ian Ladyman | Kudardup Farmhouse
Ingrid designed the interior of a barn we already had on our farm and the finished project is wonderful! Ingrid is very professional and approachable and always comes up with some great ideas to give the project a different angle. Would definitely use her services again
Janie Jones | Yallingup Shed Conversion
Ingrid listened clearly to our brief and swiftly designed the renovation and extension we sought; transforming a pokey beach cottage into a beautiful, light and open, family home. Her eye for detail and design flair speak volumes; complemented by the sense of perspective, symmetry and proportion she applies to her work.
Lucy McKay | Green Street Extension, Old Dunsborough
Ingrid designed an addition to our home, being a studio. The design was just what we wanted as Ingrid had taken into account our ideas of what wished to achieve. We wanted the addition to provide a large “working area” and look as though it had always been a part of the house. Also, internally we wanted to maintain the same atmosphere as the old part of the house. All of these objectives were met. We were delighted that had found an architect of such professionalism. Ingrid was a pleasure to work with.
Robert & Pia Pickard | Studio, Yallingup
"I have found Ingrid a pleasure to work with. She is creative, professional and carefully listens to your own vision for a building, making this her own and embellishing it beautifully with her own training and insight."
Desiree Snyman, Parish Priest | St George’s Church, Dunsborough
Vicki and I feel we were very fortunate to have engaged you to produce the plans for our recently completed house in Yallingup. We are very grateful for the help and guidance you gave us in working through and fine tuning the working drawings. Your attention to detail and sense of proportion were very much appreciated and we feel your expertise definitely helped us to achieve a great result.
Greg Shultz | Nukklgup Loop, Yallingup 2014
So glad that we instructed Ingrid at the start of our planning processes. She brought lots of ideas and enthusiasm to the project and was responsive to alterations along the way. She created a very livable home, with a warm country feel - which is exactly what we had in mind. Can't recommend her highly enough!
